The EMC case has been introduced to meet the increasing demand for protection from potentially damaging E and H field interferences. The mouldings have been coated with a Nickel loaded paint (copper silver loaded finish is also available) and the tongue and groove joins ensure good continuity along the enclosure. The end panels are also uniquely retained to ensure good electrical contact when coatings are applied. Excellent adhesion is achieved on the plastic substrate and the conductive finishes are resistant to atmospheric oxidation and corrosion, the coating's are applied using conventional spraying techniques and using electroform masks for precise selectivity of coverage. The moulding is made from UL94-V0 flame retardant ABS in RAL 7035. The cases come complete with 4 Case fixing screws, 4 Self adhesive feet (Size 3 and 4 only) and 4 Self Tapping PCB screws.
